Peekaboo Pole Dancing Kit product Video

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

Here’s our first attempt at a product video. We’ve cunningly combined the Peekaboo Pole Dancing Kit with the Inflatable Ballerina Costume.

This is has been a steep learning curve for the good folks at PB HQ and secretly we’re pretty pleased.

Admittedly, we now feel we need a better camera. Cherry did say the disposable video camera I nicked from a recent Wedding wouldn’t be suitable, but would Barney listen. “It’s free Cherry!!!” was his predictable reply.

Likewise I think we’ve been a bit frivolous on the hire of the “hot totty” to appear in the video, but we wanted to give the chaps in the office a “Friday treat”. I think we’ll just somebody in house next time…

However, overall we think we’ve done a pretty good job for our first product video and in the words of D:ream “Things can only get better”.

Thanks must go out to Sethos Films who spent hours editing the movie for our use.

Arise Sir Noel…

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

Not particularly work related this one but I feel I should share it with you as it was a massive highlight for me!!!

Bianca and myself went to London on Sunday. We had a lazy day on Sunday, shopped on Monday and then on Monday night popped along to the Royal Albert Hall to see the legend that is Noel Gallagher perform an acoustic set in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. We got into the gig about 7 bells and after a couple of cheeky beers (no queues at the Bar) we made our way into the Arena and found ourselves sat no more than 10 rows from the front. Classic!!!

It was a truly amazing gig, with Noel performing a load of Oasis classics (”Wonderwall”, “Slide Away” etc etc) as well as some tunes which havn’t been played since yonder year - such as “Sad Song” and “Don’t Go Away”. The Modfather - Paul Weller - showed up to do a couple of tunes including the Beatles “All you need is love”, and support came from the highly talented “The View” and cheeky scouse rogues “Shack”.

We had a fantastic night which was made more special due to the fact that it was for such a worthy cause…

Over and out.

Zak.

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

If the reaction in the office is anything to go by, this teeny tiny choccie fountain is sure you be a winner (especially with the female fraternity).

Standing at around 12 inches high, this little beauty is so small it will happily sit on your desk whilst you divulge on a choccy feast through your working day, but is big enough to allow your work buddies to have a veritible treat too, as it feeds 4 to 6 people.

Available in May, these little beauties are sure to be one of the most sort after gifts this year. So get your marsh mellows and strawberries on hold and get yourself ready for chocolate heaven!

We’ve gone blog crazy!

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

Morning folks,

I hope you are all well on this bitter…erm…Spring morning!!! Chuffin cold isn’t it.

The team have officially gone Blog crazy. With the the relative early success of Prezzyblog - and I have to say secretive jealousy by some of the team that I get to fill out the blog every day ;-) - Blogs have been popping up all over the place of late.

Scoops, has has launched her ingeniously entitled Shopping Scoop which has a little story about new and exciting products, whilst I myself (not content with one blog I hear them murmur) am going to start a new blog based around the marketing role I have within the Mighty Box. Finally T-Bone is starting a new blog to highlight details of his one man stand up comedy shows. He used to be in a one man band but the drummer ket getting on his back!

Aye Karumba!

As soon as we’ve got details we’ll let you know.

Keep warm!

Zak.

After the success of Steak Pie Tuesday…

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

After the success of Tidy Friday, Steak Pie Tuesday and - the staffs favourite - late night Monday, we’ve introduced a new bastion to the Prezzybox.com staple staff diet of work and play….

…Yep - Film Day Friday starts tomorrow. Unfortunately for the staff, this isn’t where Arran can bring in his favourite film (Karate Kid 2) or where Cherry gets to oggle here favourite ‘out of space buddy’ (ET) but moreover it’s the day in which we going to shoot all of our exciting product videos to display on the site.

Script writer and aspiring George Lucas, Cherry Barrett, is busy finalising the screen plays as we speak and tomorrow we intend to film the Peekaboo Pole Dancing Kit, the Inflatable Ballerina Costume and the Wild Sling in action.

Lights, Camera, Action…

Beep, Bib or…. erm…. Pip!!!

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

Hello folks.

Don’t ask me how, but this morning the team got talking about the noise your car horn makes when you press it. Politely spoken Bianca feels that you “beep your horn” - logical (and quite cute it has to be said), where as the Brummy contingent of the office - all of whom speak the Queens English - feel that you “bib your horn”. Correctamundo cries the crowd!!

However certain quarters of the office - namely Scoops and Slasher - feel that you actually ‘pip‘ your horn. PIP YOUR HORN!!! What the chuffin heck are they on about??? Admittedly they are from the East Midlands and so do have a number of…erm… interesting colloquialisms, but Pipping your horn is not one we’ve heard of until this day.

Is Scoops inventing words again? Any clarification on this would be very much appreciated.

Cheers,

Zak.

Cube World Series 3 now in stock

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

The buying dept are on a roll with the introduction of more great new products (looks like Barney’s cramming some work in before he goes on one of his many holidays on Friday!), with the addition of Cube World Series 3. Following on from the success of Cube World 1 and 2, Series 3 is one of the must have gifts for 2007.

So what is Cube World? Basically an interactive world inhabited by stick men, with each Cube containing a little stick man who lives and plays inside. There are 4 different characters to collect (Sparky the Fireman, Chief the policeman, Dash the delivery guy and Toner the… erm… aptly named office worker) who all have a different trick and all of whom can interact with one another. Link as many cubes together as you like and once they are connected the stick men will jump between cubes and interact with their buddies. So, Toner might help Dash with his deliveries whilst Chief might like to play with Sparky’s hose!

They make a great gift for yourself or your buddies and there’s plenty to collect on the Mighty Box…

Mood Beams Series 2 now in stock

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

After what seems like an eternity waiting for the much anticipated Mood Beams 2, I’m pleased to announce they are now in stock. Hurrah for father!

These cute collectable characters can be found here and should be an absolute winner as Mood Beams Series one proved to be one of the best selling products on Prezzybox last year. These cool looking cuties light up and show you how just how they feel with either with a rainbow, scroll or strobe, and they dance and bop along to sound or music. There’s 4 little fellas to choose from (puzzled, smiley, chillin and love struck) and they really are going to be one of the hottest gifts for 2007.

What are you waiting for?
