Tony was round at our house last night.

He said “it’s a bit of a shock about Bernard Manning dieing isn’t it”.

To which Bianca replied…

 ”Is he dead?? Do you think it was all the stress of that Bird Flu situation a couple of months ago?”.

You couldn’t make it up.

I’m off to Hamburg (stag do) tomorrow and then off to Portugal (Marketing meeting) on Monday, so it’s been a hectic week here at the Mighty Box trying to plough through all my work - hence the lack of blogging action.

Vicky and Craig, the new staff are settling in very nicely and are both great additions to the team. Welcom aboard.

Craig, has made the first faux par which I feel I need to share with you. In a bid to integrate with the techy team, he got involved in the tea round. The conversation went a little like this…

Craig: “Would you like a drink Tony?”

Tony: “Yes please. I’ll have a decaf coffee. With 3 spoonfuls of coffee mate”.

Now, this is where the confusion lies… Tony, not being a big fan of milk, has coffee mate in his cuppa to accompany his decaf coffee. Craig, not being aware of Tony’s beverages parlance, nor understanding his broad Black country twang, lumped 3 spoonfuls of coffee into his mug as opposed to a spoonful of coffee plus 3 spoons of coffee mate. We are currently trying to prise Tony down from the ceiling…
